Oppo has launched its latest upgrade to Oppo Reno 6, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro.
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is based on a MediaTek MT6893 Dimensity 1200 5G chipset which is built on a 6 nm architecture. The smartphone allows two storage options to choose from. An 8 GB option with an internal storage of 128 GB & a 12 GB option with an internal storage of 256 GB.
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro comes with the newer UFS 2.1 which has a faster read & write speed. The device supports Android 11 with the ColorOS 11.3. It is built around a 6.55 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. This smartphone comes with an HDR10+ certification.
The phone houses a 4500 mAh battery that allows 65 W fast charging. The device also features an optical fingerprint sensor.
The build here is nothing short of premium, the Oppo Peno 6 Pro comes bearing a glass back with the display protected by a corning glass front.
When it comes to the camera, the device features an elaborate Quad camera. It has a 64 MP main camera with an 8 MP ultra-wide paired with two sensors. A 2 MP macro & a 2 MP depth sensor. It also includes a 32 MP selfie camera. Oppo has improved their image processing software and Oppo Reno 6 Pro speaks for that. The cameras take decent shots with enhanced colours even in low light conditions.
In conclusion, we’d say that considering that this phone offers Oppo’s flagship features, the chipset is a slight drawback. We have certainly seen phones with a better chipset in the given price range.
